The band formed in Reading in the mid eighties, they released a handful of singles on the In Tape and Rough Trade labels before signing to the indie label One Little Indian who released their debut album 'Cleopatra Grip' in 1990. Their final album 'Vertical Smile' was released in 1993 and the same year the band decided to call it quits.
