The band were formed in London in 1979 by Adrian Borland and Graham Bailey, both were part of the band 'The Sound'.
The band's first release was the Flesh as Property EP, released in 1979 by Tortch Records. After releasing another EP a year later they released one album 'World of Rubber' in 1981 on the Cherry Red label.
