The Associates - The Affectionate Punch (1980)

The album 'The Affectionate Punch' was released on the Fiction Records Label. They had been joined by Michael Dempsey who originally played bass for the Cure. The two bands had quite a close affiliation as The Associates supported their stable-mates the Cure in Concerts and Robert Smith lent his voice in the form of backing vocals for their debut album.
