The Woodentops

Released on the Rough Trade Records Label in 1985.

 

They were formed in London in 1983 and the band had Frank De Frietas (brother of the late Pete from Echo & The Bunnymen) as well as Rolo McGinty from The Jazz Butcher and Anne Stephenson who was also in the Communards and Marc and The Mambas. Simon Mawby also featured and was a member of the House of Love.
