 Cocteau Twins, My Truth...

 

Less ambient than usual would probably describe the album 'Four Calendar Cafe' by the Cocteau Twins. It was the band's 7th studio album and released on the Fontana Record label in 1993. A decidedly more pop oriented twist to the album, but still one of my firm favourites.

From Wikipedia "The album took its title from William Least Heat-Moon's book Blue Highways, in which the author considers the quality of a restaurant by how many calendars it has hanging on its wall".
