Hunted...
The Passions are better known for their major chart hit, "I'm in Love with a German Film Star", which was released as the band's fourth single on 23 January 1981 on the Polydor Label. This is their second single Hunted, released in 1979 when they were signed to the Fiction Label. In 1980 they supported label-mates The Cure on a UK and European tour.
The original line-up was:
- Barbara Gogan - Vocals
- Clive Timperely - Guitars
- Claire Bidwell - Bass
- Richard Williams - Drums
They called it quits in 1983, playing their last gig at the Marquee on Wardour Street.
"I'm in Love With a German Filmstar" has been covered numerous times notably by The Foo Figthers, Sam Taylor-Wood with The Pet Shop Boys and Dubstar.

And just because it would be rude not to...."I'm In Love With A German Filmstar"....
...Evidently the song was written by Gogan for Clash and Sex Pistols roadie Steve Connelly who had minor roles in several German Films.
