Whistling In The Dark

Easterhouse...

 

They were formed in Stretford, Manchester in the early part of the 1980's and were named after the Easterhouse area of Glasgow and known for their leftist leanings.

The band were:

Andy Perry - Vocals, Harmonica

Ivor Perry - Guitar

Peter Vanden - Bass

Gary Rostock - Drums

Michael Murray - Rhythm Guitar

This track was released on the Rough Trade Records Label in 1985 made #5 in the UK Indie Charts, as did their 1986 track 'Inspiration'.
