Three Swept/Ice-Pulse

As the weather as been so windy (and wet) here today, it seemed apt to post this...

Cocteau Twins - Three Swept/Ice-Pulse (1994). On the double A Side of 'Bluebeard' released on the Fontana Record Label in 1994

More upbeat than some of their earlier albums (all of which I still love by the way!). The album Four Calendar Cafe released on the Fontana Record Label also containing  'Bluebeard' and sparking a slightly different almost 'pop' oriented new direction for the band in comparison to some of their earlier 4AD releases (check out Grail Overfloweth from the 1982 album Garlands).

In general the whole album I guess could be described as more 'mainstream' none the less it is still fantastic. 'Three Swept' would have been good enough to be an A side on it's own.

Also on the 'B side' of the same 7" single 'Ice-Pulse' another beautiful song, and again worthy of being an A side...
