Fragments Of Fear

In Camera...

Really quite dark, metallic and brooding, this track being on the B Side of the 12" IV Songs released on the 4AD Label in 1980

The Track Listing is:
  • A1 - The Conversation
  • A2 - The Attic
  • B1 - Fragments Of Fear
  • B2 - Legion

Their debut single was entitled 'Die Laughing' and was also released on the 4AD Label another dark sounding song with a hint of Joy Division, Siouxsie & The Banshees (drums and guitar style) and P.i.L.(vocals). Catch it for yourself at the link above!

They managed to open for Bauhaus in a small club in Soho, London and after their performance were quickly snapped up by those clever people at 4AD. Also managing to get a 'Peel Session' as well

They were:
  • Vocals/Keyboards - David Steiner (aka David Scinto)
  • Guitar - Andrew Gray
  • Bass - Pete Moore
  • Drums - Jeff Willmott

The band formed in 1978 and sadly by 1982 had split. Andrew Gray was to go on to form Wolfgang Press and David Scinto went into screen writing, being credited on the film 'Sexy Beast' with Louis Mellis.
