Storage Case...

Released on the Situation 2 label in 1981.

London based post punk outfit The Drowning Craze featuring Simon Raymonde of the Cocteau Twins, his brother Nick Raymonde producing this single for them.

Initially featuring Angela Jaeger on vocals, she only played one gig with the band before leaving. She later went on to provide vocals for Billy MacKenzie, Pigbag and The Monochrome Set. 

Jeager was replaced by Frankie Nardiello (My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult) who provided vocals for Drowning Crazes' second single 'Trance' also on AKickIndieNutz.com.

As a band they were fairly short lived, only releasing three 7" singles which were: 'Storage Case', 'Trance' and finally in '82 'Heat'. They also managed one John Peel Session in 1982

Initially recorded on 2nd January 1982 and first broadcast on 13th January of the same year.
